This is my entry for the Winter Contest : [link]
I’m not fully satisfied with this but I only have one day more to enter the contest and I really want it.
Anyway, I love do this following the establish rules, it was a good challenge to my creativity and capacity to improvise.
I can say that I’m developing my skills, slowly but yes
I changed lot of things in her face, erase her eyebrows and draw new ones, paint the entire make up and skin with a normal brush and using the erase tool to become the tips thinner (I’m thinking of create a new brushes pallet with eyeliners).
I used the model hair and also draw some threads to give some motion like the original image.
To the ice flower I used a technique to create stalactites (In a few days you will find the tutorial in my gallery) and past then in the petals.
The rest was using stock images from:
